Isamu Noguchi Exhibition

The Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern dedicated a retrospective to the designer Isamu Noguchi from 23 September 2022 to 8 January 2023. Isamu Noguchi is one of the most experimental artists of the 20th century. For Teshigahara Sofu (Sogetsu School), Noguchi designed an indoor rock garden at the headquarters in Tokyo in 1977/1978. In 1980, an exhibition was conceived there together with Teshigahara Hiroshi. Because of this relationship of Isamu Noguchi to Ikebana, the three Ikebana International Switzerland Chapters Basel, Geneva and Zurich presented an exhibition in the Zentrum Paul Klee in cooperation with the Japanese Information and Cultural Centre (JICC).
