Misho Chapter

Regula Maier with Ikebana name "Yurihō" 百合甫" has been teaching Ikebana for over 30 years. She is the founder of the Misho school in Switzerland, based in Sissach. Through her participation at numerous exhibitions, she has made the Mishō style in Switzerland known. She has also shown the Japanese flower art at public demonstrations and also invites masters from Japan. In 2018 she received the Iemotokyoju award.

In recent years, the interest of the of the master has increasingly turned to the modern style, e.g. also turned to glass and acrylic vessels.

In the worldwide organization Ikebana International (I.I.) she regularly participates in conferences with exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops.

She is the founder of the I.I. Basel Chapter and was its president for several years.
